The property had an older, existing extension that was poorly built and didn’t fit with the house.

Firstly, Hamilton handled the demolition and environmental disposal where materials couldn’t be recycled.

To replace the old extension, client wanted a larger extension that was stylish, yet complied with the local conservation requirements.

The client also asked Hamilton to design the kitchen interior.

Hamilton responded with modern, light design featuring a wrap-around dual-pitch roof with 5 roof-lights. For the build we used reclaimed London Yellow Stock bricks and unique hardwood timber bi-fold doors.

Hamilton then created a contemporary Shaker kitchen complete with butler sink and oak work surfaces. In contrast, modern high-end appliances are installed, coupled with stylish matching lighting.
